05/15/17 Monday Sassafras River, MD to Cape May NJ
Met with my good friends Bill and Vivian in Chesapeake city at Schaefer's canal house for crab cakes, yum. After spending Thursday through Sunday on the Sassafras River, it was time to get moving.

Have to share the canal with others.
End of the C & D canal. The Delaware river up ahead followed by Delaware Bay.
Traveling down the shipping lane, there is a fair amount of ship traffic.
Salem nuclear power plant.
Finally heading across the Cape May canal to anchor next to the Coast Guard Station for the night.
