05/24/17 Wednesday Croton on Hudson, NY to Port Ewen (Kingston), NY
Back underway today with some pictures from the river. Ended up stopping just below Kingston NY and anchoring on the river just below a lighthouse.
This is the Bear Mountain bridge. Bear mountain is not pictured to the left. The bridge coming off this ridge on the right has a clearance underneath it of 155'. How tall is the ridge? This has become a river in a valley.
Some very nice places to have homes on the Hudson.
West Point Army Academy
The building in the background was the indoor riding arena. The largest stone building room in the world without any steel supports for the ceiling, amazing!
Truly a river in a valley.
