05/31/17 Wednesday Sylvan Beach, NY to Baldwinsville, NY
Had planned to spend the day in Sylvan Beach, find a barber shop, the post office, and a grocery store. After talking with Linda and Dave last night, I decided to move on with them to Baldwinsville, which is substantially larger.
The clouds clearing out at 6am as I head out onto Oneida lake. The trip across is a little over 25 miles.
Lots of nice homes on the lake.
The Western half of the Erie canal seems to have more upscale homes and thriving cities and towns. Some of the homes I passed along the canal today.
Arrived in the mid afternoon and went out to dinner again with Linda and Dave. They will be moving on tomorrow. I will be staying here and hopefully get some nice weather to take pictures of Baldwinsville.
